Balsamic Note
Benzoin, a resinous compound derived from the trunk of the Styrax tonkinense tree, is usually used in perfumes as a base note with a unique soft and warm quality which blended with a balsamic semi-sour attitude creates a sweet sense of powdery vanilla. Benzoin is primarily used in oriental fragrances as a stabilizer and longevity booster. The dry down is conceived as a mélange of uplifting and sensuous sentiments.
