BITTER ORANGE OIL (BIGARADE)
Citrus Note
Bitter orange is a type of orange also known as Bigarade, which looks pretty much the same as orange, only it is inedible and its note is different and more complicated than the one of sweet orange oil. Bitter orange oil is obtained with cold extraction from the peel of the fruit and gives a top note, fresh and zesty with a bitter, slightly dry character and green hints. As a perfumery ingredient it is often used in modern perfumes to impart light and fresh characteristics.
