AMBER
Amber is a fossil resin valued and respected for centuries for its heeling properties and as a decorative jewelry raw material. In perfumery the resin is processed and dry-distilled offering a resinous oriental perfume note. Most of the times it is a combination of Labdanum and Benzoin, where Labdanum gives off a sweet, dry, balsamic and slightly woody scent, while Benzoin imparts the rich and warm vanilla odor. The beaming brown-gold transparent appearance of Amber crystals is truly pleasing to the eye, but also gives away the innocent honey-like aspect of its aroma.
