AMINE

The use of amines is a bit unusual in perfumery, still there is a fairly considerable number of applications, when animalic -particularly fishy or “goaty”- nuances are essential to the perfume. Since the addition of amines intensifies an odor similar to ammonia, traditionally not very pleasing, it is not a major constituent, it does however impart an extraordinary tone, worthy of our attention.
