BERGAMOT
Citrus Note
Bergamot is another member of the citrus notes, used as a top note of medium strength, it is fresh, rich and slightly floral with hints of pepper and sweet orange. Bergamot is widely used in eaux de cologne and chypre fragrances, contributing a sour and semi-bitter character which boosts the elegantly made modern floral perfumes. It is fruity, transparent and green, almost herbaceous, with a distinctive lightness but always kept bright, proudly carrying its Italian DNA. The Bergamot trees are mostly cultivated in the Calabria region in South Italy, and if you ever happen to visit the area, you will realize even the soil diffuses this softly sweet and spicy aroma.
