Floral Note
Freesia belongs to the Iris family, it is a delicate long-stemmed flower with colorful bulbs which bring a strong and refreshing floral scent. After having spent some time to get used to the smell of it, we realize the shy peppery tone and a slightly citrusy facet. In perfumery, it is used as a synthetic ingredient, very rich and light, which imparts cleanliness and a few woody touches to fragrances. The final impression of the freesia note is -of course- floral, with sparkling green and fresh trails.
