The warmth coming from black pepper adds a confident and powerful quality, that seems so appropriate for the young protagonist of the commercial, the oblivious young gentleman of today.

    The wild spirit of THIS IS HIM! culminates with a blend of patchouli and woods, the latter generating a light, smooth and sensual scent that is really captivating. Patchouli shades for the classic facet, sandalwood and cedarwood for a touch of modernity, this combination brings something new to our aromatic table, a sassy masculine perfume, mature and young, humble and at the same time provocative. After watching the interview with the perfumers on the Zadig&Voltaire website, I was expecting for a much thicker result, but THIS IS HIM! sneaked up on me with its reserved sweetness and its amazing forest-like edges.

    The dry-out is well-thought, with vanilla tones simply turning the balsamic patchouli down a notch and allowing the woody components to fully develop.

   THIS IS HIM! eau de toilette is daring and unpretentious, a perfume that makes a strong impression, carries a notable sillage and will surely turn some heads. I found it was a very interesting twist on masculine perfumes, suitable for the winter days, but I am really curious to sniff it on a warm evening too, and I guess it won’t let me down.
