TOUJOURS GLAMOUR EAU DE TOILETTE

Toujours Glamour

A heart-shaped bottle with a purple lid fills our hands and we can’t wait to smell this so innocently looking eau de toilette, launched by Moschino in 2010.

The first thing we inhale is the strong, warm and almost woody cardamom, very carefully blended with the fresh, packed with green details, violet leaves, and this is the moment where the red currant odor is unveiled with a vibrant fruity and at the same time floral profile. The light spicy and sweet cardamom odor, flies away as the flowers play a dominant role and the mild acidity of the red berries becomes even more powerful, in a playful way.

The heart of Toujours Glamour is a floral intermezzo, where Jasmine leaves behind a rich, hypnotic and transparent fruity scent, sweet like a fairytale, while Lily-of-the-Valley (aka Muguet) provides the fragrance with a glamorous cool, citrusy scent and romantic rose-like hints. This beautiful aromatic combination becomes even more interesting when the Bitter Almond pops up with its warmth and richness smoothing all the sharp edges.

We follow the almond-like odor till the very end with a vintage balsamic sense thanks to the Heliotrope and the softly sweet vanilla contribution of Benzoin. The dry-down of this fragrance is kept delicate and silky, a stable feminine aroma which is only enhanced by the Musk and its clean profile.

Rethinking of the perfume’s name, Toujours Glamour is totally matching, such an unprecedented combo of spices, fruits and flowers, each one bold on its own, but all blended together creating a brilliant aroma which we could describe as floral, oriental, fresh and modern.

If you were thinking of trying Moschino’s Toujours Glamour, we recommend you do, and let yourself enjoy the luxurious feeling.
