CHLOÉ-LOVE STORY EDP
eau de parfum
With the french actress Laetitia Casta as the face of its campaign, Nina Ricci House launched in 2015 a new fragrance for the line L’extase. An eau de parfum in a dark purple shaded bottle, that looks like a gorgeously elegant clutch with golden details, is just what we needed to “liberate our fantasies”, what the message hidden on the lid suggests.
L’extase is -among other things- described as “femininity inhabited by eroticism”, and this is so accurate, as it is a floral, modern feminine eau de parfum with an exquisite innocent character.
Rose and white flowers create a sweet and powdery overture. Smooth, soft rose petals emerge nestled in the pink pepper’s warmth and it is truly impressive how L’extase manages to protect its floral accord without becoming dull or thick, not for a single moment.
A few minutes later the sweetness glides into a vanilla scent and cedar offers its woody personality to build a pleasant semi-sour aroma, to be honest this smells like a delicious raspberry cheesecake.
The last impression is that of a mild caramel-y perfume with delightful sensual accords and a modest oriental nature delivered by the siamese benzoin and a mature amber note. The longevity of L’extase is very good thanks to the generous musky notes, while its sillage is humbly seductive.

This eau de parfum by Nina Ricci is a pleasant surprise to the senses, candy-coated flowers and mild oriental balsamic details form a tender ladylike aromatic phenomenon.
